74-Year-Old Man Charged With Firing Shotgun Into Marina In Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. — A 74-year-old Greenwich man was arrested after he fired a shotgun — twice — into the marina near Grass Island Park in Greenwich on Friday, Oct. 20, according to Patch.com.

Richard D. Francisco fired the weapon twice near pedestrians, causing great alarm, Greenwich police told Patch.com.

No injuries were reported, but Francisco had aimed into the water and in the general direction of docked boats, according to Patch.com.

Francisco was charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm and second-degree breach of peace.
