19-Year-Old Greenwich Man Dies In Crash Early Saturday

GREENWICH, Conn. -- A 19-year-old Greenwich man died early Saturday when his car struck a stone wall on Riversville Road, according to a Greenwich Police Department statement.

Preliminary information released said the man was traveling south on Riversville Road at about 1:30 a.m. when, for an as yet undetermined reason, he swerved off the road and struck a stone wall, according to the report.

The crash was being investigated by the Greenwich Police Departments Collision Reconstruction Team. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Roger Drenth at 203-622-8014.

The man’s name was being withheld pending notification of his family.
