The Smith House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 128 bed facility offering short-term rehabilitation for inpatients and outpatients, special care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related illnesses, IV therapy, Respite Care, and Long Term Skilled Nursing Care. Complementing the round-the-clock attention of our nursing and medical staff is a dedicated corps of Rehabilitation Therapists, Social Workers, Registered Dietitians, Dentists, Optometrists, Audiologists, Podiatrists, Pharmacists, Recreation Therapists, and X-Ray and Laboratory Technicians

Situated on 13 wooded acres in north Stamford since 1963, The Smith House is truly an established asset in our community. As you enter The Smith House through our lobby, you are greeted with an aura of warmth and professionalism. Our 68 private resident rooms and 30 semi private rooms provide comfort and space for residents to customize their living area with their personal belongings. The quiet indoor lounges, music room, library, chapel and outdoor walking trails, provide private areas for gatherings with family and friends.
