GREENWICH, Conn. -- Willis Donn Weirick, a former Greenwich resident, died on Friday, Dec. 26, at the age of 86.
He was born in Newark, Ohio and attended school in New Rochelle, N.Y.
He enlisted into the U.S. Army Air Force and served for three years in Japan as a radio operator. He was an active Ham radio operator and an expert in World War II aircraft. He had a long career with CBS Television.
Weirick is survived by his wife, Margaret H. Weirick.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, at Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home (next to the Knights of Columbus) 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford, Conn.
