DALLAS, Texas - William (Bill) Alexander Arnold IV, formerly of Greenwich, died March 19. He was 49.
Arnold spent his childhood in Greenwich, where he attended the Brunswick School. He went to college at Southern Methodist University, where he was student body treasurer and earned an MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Arnold held a senior finance role in the 1992 Republican National Convention for George H.W. Bush's re-election campaign and went on to a career on Wall Street, where he worked for Goldman Sachs, AIM Management, Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management, and Credit Suisse First Boston. He was also involved with the Oaklawn Foundation; a nonprofit, educational and social service fund.
Arnold is survived by his father, William A. Arnold III; his sister, Lorraine Arnold Sullivan; and his former wife, Lisa H. Arnold. He was predeceased by his mother, Ann Kies Arnold; his paternal grandparents William A. Arnold II and Eleanor Flick Arnold; his maternal grandparents, William S. Kies, Jr. and Janet Mitchell Jacobsen; and his step grandmother, Lorraine Kies.
A remembrance service will be held April 20 at 1 p.m. at Christ Church Chapel in Greenwich.
