GREENWICH, Conn. – Walter R. Obuchowski Jr. of Greenwich died July 30 at Greenwich Hospital. He was 76.
Born Sept. 14, 1935, in Stamford, he was the son of Walter and Helen Obuchowski. He worked in the plastics industry and owned Charter Supply Co. in Philmont, N.Y., for many years.
Obuchowski is survived by his wife, Esther Obuchowski; a sister, Barbara Brown; three stepchildren, John Nelson, Norma Einhorn and Ivy Villafane; and two nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fred D. Knapp and Son Funeral Home in Greenwich.
