Becker was born to Hans and Ethel Becker in Port Chester, N.Y. A long time resident of Greenwich, he worked for 15 years for Connecticut Natural Gas in the streets department.
Becker is survived by his wife, Sheila; daughters, Kim Aponte (Richard) and Kelly Kortner (Coleman); son, Terry Becker; three grandchildren; sister, Judy Cristello; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Friday, July 5 from 4 to 8 p.m at the Castiglione Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 6 at St. Mary Church on Greenwich Ave. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
