GREENWICH, Conn. – Suzanne "Barbara" Hayward Carpenter of Delray Beach, Fla., and formally Greenwich, Connecticut, died on Dec. 28.
Born in New Orleans, Carpenter was a long time member of the Rye Twigg and Greenwich Hospital auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Hilary Carpenter Lynch, of Village of Golf, Fla.; Patricia Lathem Carey of Darien, Conn.; Edward Brewster Prindle, of Seattle, Wash.; Timothy Knowlton Carpenter of Darien and Francis Newton Carpenter III of S. Barrington, Ill., as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral celebration will be held Sunday, Jan. 4, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Church, Delray Beach, Fla. Funeral/interment will be held Wednesday, Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. at Christ Church, 254 East Putnam Ave., Greenwich.
