Rocco P. DePalma, 91, Of Greenwich, Founder, RPDePalma Accountant

GREENWICH, Conn. - Rocco P. DePalma, of Greenwich and Palm Beach Gardens, died Sept. 4. He was 91.

DePalma was born June 19, 1922, in NYC, N.Y., to Felix and Concetta DePalma. He graduated from Greenwich High in 1941 and went on to receive a business degree from New York University and attended law school also at NYU. He was a Army Veteran of World War II where he landed at Utah Beach on D-Day. He founded his own business, RPDePalma Accountant in 1947 and worked there until his retirement in 1997. He was a member of the Alpha Phi Fraternity, Kiwanis Club, Boys town of Italy, a Founding member of Burning Tree Country Club and was a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus.

DePalma is survived by his wife, Charlotte; daughters, Charlotte (Jeff) Nau and Dianne (Robert) DeFruscio; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 13 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Castiglione Funeral Home. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at St. Roch’s Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
