Richard Zeller, 92, Greenwich WWII Veteran

GREENWICH, Conn. – Richard Zeller of Greenwich died Oct. 9. He was 92. 

He was born Oct. 30, 1919, in New Jersey to Richard and Eleanor Zeller. He served as a major in the Air Force during World War II and worked as a commercial real estate broker for many years. An accomplished pianist, he was also a U.S. Tennis Association Super Senior tennis player. 

Zeller is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marie Zeller; a son, Richard Zeller; a sister, Maryann Cooper; and a granddaughter.

Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Castiglione Funeral Home in Greenwich. Burial will be private.
