Raymond L. Chila, 74, Of Greenwich, Worked For Pitney Bowes

GREENWICH, Conn. - Raymond L. Chila of Greenwich died Tuesday, June 25. He was 74.

Chila was born April 22, 1939, in Port Chester, N.Y., to Anthony and Mary Chila. He worked at Pitney Bowes for 44 years, where he also served as vice president of the PBEA. In his retirement he worked as a golf ranger at Burning Tree Country Club. Ray was a coach for Junior Babe Ruth and umpired Little League in the town of Greenwich.

Chila is survived by his wife, Marion Chila; sister, Rose Genovese of Fla.; daughters, Wendy Rebello (Christopher) and Lisa Millette-Valentine (Brian) both of Darien; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers John and Peter Chila.

Calling hours are Thursday, June 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Castiglione Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, June 28 at St. Catherine of Siena in Riverside. Interment will immediately follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Greenwich.
