GREENWICH, Conn. -- Ralph A. Pastore Sr., of Greenwich, died on Dec. 29, 2015 as a result of complications from lung cancer. He was 73.
He was born on Feb. 12, 1942, in Greenwich, and was raised by his grandparents Thomas and Geraldine Pagnotto Pastore. He attended the Greenwich Public Schools and created a lifelong career in grocery management with A&P and DeCicco Markets.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, aunts and uncles, Connie, Anthony, Joseph, Lucy, Daniel and Fannie, along with a half-sister Maryann Langford of Spring, Tex. He was also predeceased by his parents Anthony and Rachel Racaniello.
He is survived by his wife Roseann Bennette Pastore of Greenwich and his sons Ralph A. Pastore Jr., of Norwalk and Michael S. Pastore of Taghkanic, N.Y.
Visitation will be held at Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road #3, Greenwich, on Friday, Jan. 1, from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Jan. 2, at St. Roch's Church, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 399 North St., Greenwich.
