GREENWICH, Conn. – Ralph Timothy Jetter, 78, died on Wednesday, Jan. 21.
He was born on July 25, 1936, in Larchmont, N.Y. He was a son of David Jetter and Ella Mae Butcher (Evans).
For most of his adult life, Jetter resided in Stamford but spent his retirement years as a resident of Greenwich. He served in the Air Force after he graduated from Mamaroneck High School in 1955.
He was a car enthusiast and an avid movie fan who particularly enjoyed "spaghetti Westerns" and James Bond movies. He was also a big fan of Frank Sinatra.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Robertson (Donald) and family of Alpharetta, Ga; sons Gregory Jetter of Uncasville, Conn., Thomas Jetter of Phoenix, Ariz., Brett Jetter of New Rochelle, N.Y., Brian Jetter of Stamford; daughter, Deisha Jetter and her husband, Robert Jreaswec of Springfield, Mass.; and seven grandchildren.
Jetter was predeceased by a daughter, Vanita Jetter; and David Evans Jetter, Sr. and Terry Eddie Jetter, Sr..
Visitation is Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St, Stamford.
