SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Pauline Marie Fox (nee' Mercier), of Sacramento, formerly of Solvang, Greenwich, Conn., and Detroit, Mich, died Oct. 17. She was 86.
Fox was born Jan. 29, 1928, in Quebec City, Quebec, where she lived until her marriage in 1949. She relocated to Michigan with her husband in 1996.
Fox is survived by her daughters, Denyse A. Nishio of Carmichael, Susan M. Fox, of Soquel, and Laura M. Fox, of Greenwich, Conn.; sons-in-law James N. Nishio, and Thomas E. Macken, Jr.; seven grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Sister Mary Joseph, O.P., and Ghislaine Mercier. She was also predeceased by her husband, John J. Fox; grandson, Brian Macken; brother, Claude Mercier; and parents, Jules and Marthe Mercier.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Old Mission Santa Ines, in Solvang, Calif. at a future date, followed by a family graveside service.
