Christie was born Aug. 27, 1976, in Greenwich, son of Neil N. and Isabel Dowd Christie of Tequesta, Fla. He graduated from Darien High School and Pine Ridge School. He worked as a computer specialist at Greenwich Partners and then was self-employed.
Christie is survived by his parents; sisters, Alison (Jay) Roby, of Atlanta, Ga., and Lauren Christie of Jupiter, Fla.; brothers, Michael Christie of New York City and Robert Christie of Stamford; a nephew, Ryan Roby; paternal grandmother, Mary Christie of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and an uncle, Robert E. Christie of Stuart, Fla.
Calling hours are Thursday, Aug. 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home 2119 Post Road, Darien. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30 at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 374 Middlesex Road, Darien. Interment will be private.
