GREENWICH, Conn. - Nancy V. Pecora of Greenwich died July 24. She was 74.
Pecora was born in Greenwich, to Horace and Filomena (Fanny) LoParco. She graduated from Greenwich High School in 1957. She worked for a short time at American Cyanamid and Barnes Engineering. She was a regular volunteer at Hamilton Avenue School. She also volunteered at St. Roch's Church Summer Feast.
Pecora is survived by her husband, Sylvester J. Pecora Sr.; daughters, Elizabeth A. Varney (Jim) and Mary Jo Pecora-Runkle (Scott); sons, Joseph A. Pecora (Melinda) and Sylvester J. Pecora, Jr. (Alissa); 11 grandchildren; brother, Mauro LoParco (Blanche); and her sister, Fedelia Brunetti (Jim). She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Marie Suster.
Calling hours will be Monday, July 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Castiglione Funeral Home , 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 30 at St. Roch's Catholic Church, 10 Roch's Ave., Greenwich.
