GREENWICH, Conn. - Muriel Selden Paris of Greenwich died Monday, May 20 . She was 94.

Paris was born June 9,1918, in New York City, daughter of Lynde and Muriel Selden. She attended The Hewitt School and was a graduate of The Madeira School in Greenway, Va. She was a long standing member of the Green Fingers Garden Club and The Greenwich Daffodil Society. She was a board member of The Goodspeed Opera House Foundation since her election on April 17, 1971. She was a former member of the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich and a volunteer at Greenwich Hospital and The Junior League and a communicant at Christ Church. She was a member of the Colony Club, The Belle Haven Club, and a former member of The Round Hill Club and Indian Harbor Yacht Club.

Paris is survived by her son, Peter E. Paris, Jr. (Anne) of Riverside; daughters, Muriel Sudduth Badgley of Summit, N.J., and Lynde Sudduth Karin (Michael) of Greenwich; sister, Joan Selden Mathews of Hobe Sound, Fla.; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter E. Paris; and brother, Albert W. Selden.

Burial will be private.
