WELLESLEY, Mass. – Marybelle (Gilskey) O'Leary, 83, died Jan. 5.
O’Leary was a resident of Wellesley, Mass., formerly of Riverside, Conn. and East Dennis, Mass.. She was the wife of William B. O'Leary Sr. for 57 years.
O'Leary was born and raised in Chicago, and was a graduate of Rosary College (Dominican University). Prior to her marriage, she was an analyst with Booz, Allen & Hamilton in Chicago.
She is the mother of William B. Jr., of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Patrick M. (Mary Ellen) of Redding, Conn.; Thomas J. (Kathryn) of Riverside, Conn.; Kevin D. (Shari) of Wellesley, Mass.; and Catherine O. (Daniel Ward) of Wellesley, Mass.. She was the sister of Rita McIntyre, Lucille Hahn, Loretto Malloy and the late Leo Gilskey. She was "Nana" to Trevor, Conor, Margaret, Keegan, Megan, Brendan, Emma, Caitlyn, Brady, Kevin, Brian, Annie and Hagan. Rafferty is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Route16) Wellesley, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Paul Church in Wellesley at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation prior to the Mass in the funeral home will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
