GREENWICH, Conn. - Mary "Mae" Wetmore of Greenwich, formerly of Port Chester, N.Y., died Friday, Nov. 7. She was 84.
Wetmore was born Aug. 27, 1930, to Thomas and Ann Kealey, in New Rochelle, N.Y. She moved to Port Chester, N.Y. at age 10 and graduated from Port Chester High School. She was a retired telephone operator. She was a parishioner at Our Lady of Mercy Church and an active member in the Saint Mary's Mother's Club.
Wetmore is survived by her children, John, Timothy, Patricia Gurahian and Mariann Marshall; and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Nov. 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Gallagher's Funeral Home , 31 Arch St., Greenwich, with a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 13 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, followed by burial at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook, N.Y.
