GREENWICH, Conn. - Marion Martin Manger of Greenwich died Aug. 27. She was 96.
Manger was born Nov. 4 ,1917, in N.Y., to John J. Martin and Evelyn Martin. She graduated from Scarsdale High School in 1937 and attended St. Lawrence University. After marriage she lived in Pelham, N.Y., until 1950 and then moved to Greenwich. She was involved in church and community.
Manger is survived by her brother, Richard Martin of Vero Beach, Fla.; children, Lilian Lewis of Dallas, Texas, William C. Manger of Marianna, Fla., Jules Manger MD of Bow, N.H., Marion Becker of Waco, Texas, Philip M. Manger of Newtown, Margery Welsh of Fort Washington, Pa., and John J. Manger of Bel Air, Md.; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Julius Manger Jr.
