Marion Ann Pfenninger, 80, Retired Hospital Employee, Formerly Of Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. — Marion Ann Pfenninger, a resident of Stratford and formerly of Greenwich, died March 7. She was 80.

Pfenninger was born March 7, 1933, in Flushing, N.Y., to Thomas and Mary Louise Haefeli Walsh. She was a graduate of Bayside High School. She worked in the telecommunications department at Greenwich Hospital.

Pfenninger is survived by her husband George; children Edward Pfenninger (Pam) of Sugarland, Texas, Thomas Pfenninger (Angel) of Stratford, Conn., Susan Pfenninger of Oakland, Calif., and Kelly (Andrew) Bishop of Milford, Conn.; one grandson; sister Carol (Raymond) Lerner of Holbrook, N.Y.; brother, Robert Walsh (Liza) of Lake Forest, Ill.; many nieces and nephews. Pfenninger was predeceased by her son Scott Pfenninger and brother Thomas Walsh.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday March 12 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. 40 Leicester St. Port Chester, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday March 13 at Saint Mary's Church 178 Greenwich Ave. Greenwich, Conn. Interment to follow at Saint Michael's Cemetery Stratford, Conn.
