GREENWICH, Conn. - Maria F. Ambrosecchia of Greenwich died Oct. 6. She was 81.
Ambrosecchia was born June 3, 1933, to Salvatore and Maria Rosario Ritacco in Calabria, Italy.
Ambrosecchia is survived by her husband, Antonio; brothers, Umile, Franco, Mario, and Joseph Ritacco; sister, Elena Fiore; step daughters, Filomina, Geraldine, and Concetta; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Castiglione Funeral Home, Inc., 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 at St. Roch Church, 10 St. Roch Ave., Greenwich. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 399 North St., Greenwich.
