Margaret A. Derocle, 92, Longtime Greenwich Resident

GREENWICH, Conn. - Margaret A. Derocle, a Greenwich resident for 44 years, died July 30. She was 92.

Derocle was born March 30, 1921, in Manhattan where she resided along with her husband and family until moving to Greenwich in 1969. She was a eucharistic minister at St. Timothy’s Chapel in Greenwich.

Derocle is survived by her children, Margaret Peasback (David) of Greenwich, Barbara Steele (John) of Greenwich, Anne Hires (By) of Darien, and Paul Derocle of Kauai, Hawaii; a grandson; three great granddaughters all of Greenwich; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Emile.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5 at St. Timothy’s Chapel, 1034 North St., Greenwich. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Greenwich.
