Murano was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Rosa Cosenza, Italy, to Rococo and Rose Murano. He graduated from Greenwich High School in 1941. He was employed with Electrolux for 42 years.
Murano is survived by his son, Louis (Mary Ann); a granddaughter; sister, Mary Castellon; brother, Rocco Murano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Thursday, Oct. 30 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31 at Sacred Heart Church, 95 Henry St., Greenwich. Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Greenwich.
