Leona Reynolds, 93, Of Greenwich, Real Estate And Insurance Broker

GREENWICH, Conn. - Leona Scully Reynolds of Greenwich died Dec. 24. She was 93.

Reynolds was born in 1920 in Greenwich, to Susan and Thomas Scully. She was a graduate of Greenwich High School. Upon graduation, she attended business and secretarial school, obtained both her Connecticut real estate and insurance broker licenses and worked in the greater Greenwich area for 15 years. She was a badminton player and competed throughout New England with the CT Badminton Association. She married Walter Reynolds and they raised their family in Wallingford, Conn., where she became a volunteer with the Wallingford Art League, Masonic Home and Hospital and the school library. Reynolds is survived by her son, William Reynolds of Warrenton, Va.; daughter, Nancy Reynolds and her partner, Horst Hartlieb of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her five siblings; and former husband, Walter.

There will be no memorial service. Donations may be made in Reynolds’ memory to a non-profit organization of one's choice.
