She was born June 6, 1915, to the late Frank and Maria Elena Boskello in Greenwich. She attended Greenwich Public Schools. On July 4, 1939, she married Frank (Wally) V. Forte in St. Roch Church.
She was known for her great Italian cooking and baking. She loved to cook for her family and friends and passed on her favorite recipes to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Frank (Wally) Forte; three brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by her sons Frank (Anne Jane) Forte of Fairfield; Joseph (Robin) Forte of Marthas Vineyard, Mass.; and William Forte of Bridgeport; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister; two sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave, Greenwich. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Roch Church, 10 St. Roch Ave. Greenwich. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, 399 North St., Greenwich.
