Jordan was born Feb. 26, 1942, in Brooklyn, to Eleanor and William J. Steger. She married Joseph P. Jordan in 1963. They lived in New Jersey and in the Hudson Valley of New York until returning to Greenwich. She received her Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from Monmouth College in N.J. She received her Doctor of Ministry from the Christian Life School of Theology, Atlanta, Ga.
Jordan is survived by her husband, Joseph P. Jordan; son, Joseph C. Jordan (Shari) of Clinton Corners, N.Y.; daughter, Jessica Kells (Paul) of Madison; mother, Eleanor Steger of Greenwich; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, William.
A service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Center for Hope & Renewal, 237 Taconic Road, Greenwich, CT 06831.
