Joan Santora, 74, Of Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. – Joan M. Santora, a lifelong resident of the Riverside section of Greenwich, died Dec. 16 at Greenwich Hospital. She was 74. 

She was born on June 10, 1940, to Rocco Santoro and Rose Spezzano Santoro. She attended St. Catherine's School in Riverside and Greenwich High School. She worked for the New York Telephone Co. at its Harrison, N.Y., location as a telephone operator.

She was predeceased by brother Albert R. Santoro. She is survived by brother Carmine Santoro (Angelina) of Shelton; a sister Barbara Montague Wilson (Edmond) of Danbury; and her sister-in-law Deborah A. Santoro of York, S.C. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, and 20 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Calling hours will be held at Castiglione Funeral Home at 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, on Friday, Jan. 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. For online condolences, click here
