Jean Anne Jordan, 67, Of Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. - Jean Anne Jordan of Greenwich died Saturday, Sept. 20. She was 67.

Jordan was born Sept. 28, 1946, in San Francisco, Calif., to Adam and Pauline Knieste, she grew up in Teaneck, N.J. She graduated from Immaculate Heart Academy of Washington Township in 1964 and went on to attend college briefly before entering the advertising agency industry. She worked at DDB Worldwide before moving on to NW Ayer & Sons in New York City. She held several positions there over 17 years before retiring as administrator of the international department in 1990.

Jordan is survived by her husband, Jerry N. Jordan; brothers, Peter A. Knieste of Troy, N.H., Paul A. Knieste of Fresh Meadows, N.Y., and Christopher Knieste (Linda) of Dix Hills, N.Y.; sister, Priscilla B. Knieste (Dennis Clark) of Long Beach, N.Y.; four grandchildren; brother-in-law, Joe Richard of Costa Rica; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Roberta "Robyn" Richard of Apex, N.C.

A memorial service for will be held Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, 469 North St., Greenwich.
