Breaking News: Greenwich Police Respond To Two Separate Hit-And-Run Incidents

James Ashe, 82, Of Greenwich, Retired VP, Marketing, News & World Report

GREENWICH, Conn. - James Ashe of Greenwich, formerly of Garden City, N.Y., and Savannah, Ga., died Aug. 27. He was 82.

Ashe was born in 1931. He was a graduate of Bishop Loughlin H.S., Queens College and received his MBA from New York University. He retired in 1985 from U.S. News & World Report as vice president of Marketing. He was a longtime member of the Cherry Valley Club in Garden City, N.Y., and a board member of the Landings Club in Savannah, Ga.

Ashe is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, Richard (Maria); daughter, Marybeth (Peter) Wise; and five grandchildren.

A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date to honor Ashe.
