GREENWICH, Conn. - Irene D. Carlucci, a resident of Greenwich and formerly of Port Chester, died Aug. 8. She was 86.
Carlucci was born Jan. 21, 1927, in Port Chester to Dominic and Maria Cerone Melillo. She was raised and educated in Port Chester. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church.
Carlucci is survived by her children, Joseph Carlucci of Greenwich and Mary Basso (Vincent) of Stamford; two grandchildren; a great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Nicholas J. Carlucci; brothers, Nicholas and Charles Melillo; and sisters, Mary Krinsky, Grace Bracciale, Anna Mollica, Angelina Caruso, Rose Santarsiero and Helen Calebrese.
Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St., Port Chester. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook.
