She was born July 9, 1917, to the late Leonard and Josephine Infante Bria, second generation from Rose, Italy. She resided in Greenwich her entire life. She was a member of St. Mary's Parish, worked at Nathaniel Witherell Nursing Home and later for the Greenwich Police Department in the traffic division.
She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Michael A. Chiappetta, Sr.; sons Peter Chiappetta of Boca Raton, Florida; Michael Chandler of Naples, Florida; and David (Donna) Chiappetta of Greenwich; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother in California; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one sister and five brothers.
Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich. A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 178 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, 399 North St., Greenwich.
