Grace M. Rich, 98, Lifelong Greenwich Resident

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Grace M. Rich, 98, passed away peacefully July 27, 2015.

She was born Oct. 18, 1916, to Rocco and Marie Christensen Rich in Greenwich. She was a lifelong Greenwich resident and graduated from Greenwich High School.

Rich was a loyal and devoted employee for more than 50 years as an executive secretary to Jerry Porricelli at Porricelli's Food Mart in Old Greenwich.

She loved to dance and was a student of Arthur Murray Studios. She danced competitively in New York City and won several competitions.

Rich was predeceased by her parents and brothers George, Leonard, and Charles.

She is survived by her brother Robert W. Rich, sisters, Florence Rich, and Gloria Krahn and her husband Chris, and a sister-in-law Katherine Rich. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road #3, Greenwich. Interment to follow at Putnam Cemetery, 35 Parsonage Road, Greenwich.
