CUMMING, Ga. - George Jamieson, a former resident of Greenwich, died Dec. 14. He was 85.
Jamieson was born Aug. 9, 1928, to Duncan and Catherine. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Jamieson is survived by a son, David Jamieson of Ridgefield; daughter, Laura Burgess of Cumming; and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Shirley; and granddaughter, Beverly.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, at First Presbyterian Church of Greenwich, One W. Putnam Ave., Greenwich.
