NEW MILFORD, Conn. - Frank R. Siclari, of New Milford, formerly of Greenwich and Naples, Fla., died Thursday, Aug. 22. He was 90.
Siclari was born Feb. 8, 1923, in Port Chester, N.Y., son of John and Dominica (Lorenzo) Siclari. He served in the Navy during World War II in the South Pacific on the USS J. Douglas Blackwood. He retired from Electrolux Corp., Old Greenwich, after of 40 years of service.
Siclari is survived by his wife, Rose Mary (Santora) Siclari; children, John Siclari (Bonnie) of Brookfield, Robert Siclari (Patricia) of Aurora, Colo., Jeanne DiGiacomo (Christopher) of New Milford and Frank J. Siclari (Carolyn) of Fairfield; 11 grandchildren; a great grandson; sister, Jeanne (Dan) Pugliese; brother-in-law, Paul Santora; lifelong friend, Dan Mecca; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Anna Sileo, Rose Ann Terry, Fannie Matero, Connie Mancuso, Frances Flynn, Josephine Severi; and brother, Richard Siclari. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26 at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, 138 Candlewood Lake Road in Brookfield. Military honors will follow at St Peter’s cemetery, Lake Avenue Ext., Danbury.
