GREENWICH, Conn. -- Elizabeth "Betty" Gant Wilkinson, a Greenwich resident, died Friday, Dec. 26. She was 98.
Wilkinson was born on April 18, 1916, in North Carolina and grew up with 11 siblings. Wilkinson relocated in 1948 to Greenwich. There, she raised her three children and was affectionately known as Betty.
Betty is survived by a daughter, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
She was predeceased by her sons, James Epps and Alvin Gant.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, at Downer Funeral Home, 31 Stillwater Ave., Stamford, at 1 p.m.
