Elizabeth Anne Owen, 68, Worked At Perrot Library In Old Greenwich

NORWALK, Conn. - Elizabeth Anne Macfarlane Owen of Norwalk died Nov. 19. She was 68.

Owen was born June 9, 1946, in Lennoxtown, Scotland, to Charles and Margaret Grindlay. She attended Oxford University. After her marriage she moved to Connecticut with her husband and three children in October, 1986 where she lived for the remainder of her life. She worked at Perrot Library in Old Greenwich for many years and was a member of several different church communities throughout her life (St. Mary's Church, Maidenhead, England; Greenwich Baptist Church, Greenwich; and Black Rock Congregational Church, Fairfield).

Owen is survived by her husband, Jerry; children, Kate, Isobel, and Edward; their spouses, Chris Morin, Jose Miguel Cuevas, and Caryn Owen; seven grandchildren; and a nephew.

Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23 at the home of Jerry Owen on 44 Reichert Circle, Westport, CT, 06880. A commemoration service with reception to follow will be held at Greenwich Baptist Church, 10 Indian Rock Lane, Greenwich, Connecticut Friday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m.
