GREENWICH, Conn. - Edna Svorka of Greenwich died Aug. 31. She was 96.
Svorka was born Feb. 16, 1917, in Glenville, to John and Eleanor Muzoleski. She was a lifelong resident of Greenwich.
Svorka is survived by her son, George Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Dale, of Greenwich; and two granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband, George; a daughter, Georgeann; siblings, Helen Barber, Genevieve DeMarkey, Frances Doyle, Laura Huhne, Ann (Honey) Petrusky, John Muzoleski, Frank Muzoleski; and twin brother, Stanley Muzoleski. Calling hours are from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 4 at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch St., Greenwich, followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, 399 North St., Greenwich.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church in Byram.
