OLD GREENWICH, Conn. - E. "Marie" Lucas (Moran), formerly of Old Greenwich, died Tuesday, Nov. 25. She was 96.
Lucas was born Jan. 25, 1918, in Stamford, to James and Mary (Gleason) Moran. She attended St. John's School and graduated from Stamford High School.
Lucas is survived by her sons, Frederick Lucas (Jean) of Reisterstown, Md., and Richard Lucas (Jean) of Enfield; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Signe Lucas; a niece; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Frederick Lucas.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford. Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St John's Cemetery in Darien.
