Feder was born July 8, 1943, in Yonkers, N.Y., daughter of Cornelius K. Sullivan and Hope North Sullivan. She grew up in Old Greenwich and attended Greenwich High School and Connecticut College. She was involved with the King Low Heywood Thomas School and in helping to establish Safe Rides in Stamford.
Feder is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Brooke (Jesse Stuart) of Rowayton; son, Corey (Andrea Mercado) of Somerville, Mass.; and brother, Dwight Sullivan (Patricia Swasey) of Greenwich.
Services will be private at the express wish of the deceased.
