Charles F. Ross, Of Greenwich, Worked For McDermott’s Paint And Wallpaper

GREENWICH, Conn. - Charles Frederick Ross of Greenwich died Oct. 6. He was 89.

Ross was born March 7, 1925, to Charles and Floretta Ross. He served in the U.S. Army 222nd Infantry Regiment, Company E in WWII in Germany. After returning home in 1945, he worked as a painter with his father. He was employed at McDermott's Paint and Wallpaper for 45 years.

Ross is survived by his wife, Lillian Ross of Greenwich; daughter, Cynthia Ross of Stamford; son, Jeffrey Ross of Greenwich; four grandsons; four great grandchildren; sister, Floretta Adamek of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Catherine Stashenko and Dorothy Piotroski.

There will be no calling hours and services will be private.
