Caroline Whiteside Warren, 82, Former Greenwich School Teacher

FARMINGTON, Conn. - Caroline Whiteside Warren of Farmington, formerly of Greenwich, died Sept. 23. She was 82.

Warren was a resident of Greenwich from early childhood until her early 50s. She raised a family of four children in Greenwich.

She worked for many years in various careers as a teacher at Greenwich Country Day School and Greenwich High School; as a paralegal; and as a nurse. She was a graduate from Greenwich Country Day School, Miss Porter's School, Smith College, and Columbia University's Teacher's College.

Warren is survived by her daughter, Constance "Connie" (George) Gurney; son, Henry Warren; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Amy and George Whiteside; brother, George Whiteside; and daughters, Alison Warren and Amy Warren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 22 at St. Barnabas Church in Greenwich.
