GREENWICH, Conn. – Caroline Bukowski, 77, loving daughter of Mary and Charles Bukowski and sister to Charles Bukowski, Jr., passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 29.
A native of Cos Cob, Conn., she graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and retired as a fiduciary accountant. An avid reader and lifelong student of poetry and history, she frequented educational programs and loved time spent with family and friends, taking in the beauty of nature, birds, flowers, tai chi, sailing and strolling through local parks.
She is survived by her beloved family and extended family of loving friends.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, Jan. 3, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 247 Stanwich Road, Greenwich. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Greenwich.
