STAMFORD/GREENWICH, Conn. - Carol Ann Sorbo of Stamford/Greenwich died Tuesday, Sept. 30. She was 68.
Sorbo was born July 27, 1946, in Stamford, to Joseph M. Cyboski and Dorothy M. (Burke) Cyboski. She was a lifelong resident of both Stamford and Greenwich. She managed the cafeteria at Rogers Elementary School for many years. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s RC Church’s Rosary Society. St. Mary’s Quilting Group, and Rowayton Quilting Club.
Sorbo is survived by her husband, Peter J. Sorbo Jr.; daughter, Lisa Sorbo Woei (Frank); son, Peter J. Sorbo (Michelle); brother, John J. Cyboski (Susan); sister-in-law, Sharon Cyboski; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Joseph M. Cyboski III and Thomas Cyboski.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4 at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien.
