Barbara L. Hong-Supp, 60, Of Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. - Barbara Lynn Hong-Supp of Greenwich died Dec. 23. She was 60.

Hong-Supp was born in 1953, in Brooklyn, New York; daughter of James and Rose Hong. She graduated from FDR High School in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1970. She then went on to attend Concordia College in Bronxville, N.Y. She then continued with her studies at Stony Brook University, and post-graduate studies at Brooklyn College and New York University. She was for many years an adjunct faculty member of the City University of New York teaching political science at various colleges of CUNY, Baruch College and Jay John College in particular. She was also active in the Greenwich community serving on the Board of the Greenwich YMCA and was also active with the United Way of Greenwich. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 761 King St., Rye Brook, New York 10573.

Hong-Supp is survived by her husband, Joseph Supp; and brother, Barry Hong of Saint Louis, Mo. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Robert James Hong.

Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, CT 06830. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Rye Brook, N.Y.
