GREENWICH, Conn. - Anne Tierney of Greenwich died Saturday, Nov. 9. She was 56.
Tierney was born Sept. 7, 1947, in Greenwich, daughter of Judge William L. Tierney, Jr. and Dorita Dillon Tierney. She attended St. Mary's High School and graduated from the Convent of Sacred Heart in Greenwich. She was a graduate of Skidmore College. An artist and art curator, she had been employed by U. S. Tobacco Company in its museum and the Greenwich Historical Society.
Tierney is survived by her brother, Kevin Tierney of Greenwich; sister, Virginia Kaas of Riverview, Fla.; and three nephews and three nieces. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23 at St. Mary R. C. Church, 178 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary R. C. Church, 178 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, CT 06830.
