GREENWICH, Conn. A New York City woman was arrested New Years Day after she hit a police cruiser while driving on Delavan Avenue, police said.
Giselle Hamburg, 47, of 333 West 57th St., was stopped after she hit the police cruiser that had pulled another car over near the intersection of Beech Street. There was minor damage to Hamburgs car and the cruiser. She was stopped and told police she had not been drinking and did not know she had hit the police cruiser.
She failed field sobriety tests and was charged with failure to carry insurance identification, DWI, and improper passing, police said. She is due in court on Jan. 17.

Johnnathan Ritch, 35, of 35 Orchard St., was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct Friday after an argument with a woman in which a phone was broken, police said. He was released on a $250 bond and was expected to appear in court Tuesday.
Victor Chimillo, 37, of 818 Home St., Apt. 8V in the Bronx, was arrested Friday on suspicion of forgery and illegally obtaining a prescription. Police say hhe tried to use a fake prescription at the Walgreens pharmacy on East Putnam Avenue. He was being held on a $1,000 bond.
A Greenwich landlord was charged with criminal lockout Monday when he changed the locks on his tenants apartment without a court order to do so, police said. Robert Schmaling, 65, of 5 Idlewild Manor, was issued a summons to appear in court on Jan. 9.
