Woman Charged With Stealing Gloves in Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. – A 71-year-old woman from New Hampshire was arrested in Greenwich on charges of stealing merchandise from a store on Greenwich Avenue, police said.

Maryann Zurn, of 42 Warner Road, Salisbury, was seen by store security at Saks Fifth Avenue on Saturday putting gloves and hosiery into a store bag and leaving without paying, according to a police report. She was arrested on larceny charges and held on $500 bond.

Also from the Greenwich Police Department:

• A 51-year-old Greenwich man was arrested Sunday after a dispute in which he threw a vacuum cleaner and flipped over a dryer machine, police said. He was released on $500 bond and was due in court Monday.

• Ashley Lynn Pedrosa-Ferrara, 22, of 9 Walnut St., Cos Cob, turned herself in to Greenwich police Friday on two warrants on charges of failure to appear in court. She was arrested and released on $2,500 bond. She is due in court Jan. 13.
