GREENWICH, Conn. A Greenwich woman was charged with larceny Saturday for stealing groceries from the Whole Foods on East Putnam Avenue, police said.
Nora Thubert, 39, of 24 Putnam Green, Apt. A, was caught on videotape placing items into a Whole Foods bag and exiting the store without paying for them, police said. The stolen items totaled $31. She was identified and issued a summons to appear in court Jan. 23.

Mendim Zhuta, 29, of 8 Weaver St., Apt L1R, Greenwich, was arrested Jan. 12 on a charge of failure to appear in court, police said. He was scheduled to appear in court April 2, 2009, after receiving a summons Jan. 9, 2009, charging him with a suspended license, following too close and operating a motor vehicle without minimum insurance. He was arrested and released on $250 bond. He is due in court Jan. 20.
Gail Frederick, 59, of 14 Sherman Ave., Greenwich, was arrested Jan. 13 on charges of threatening and harassment stemming from a domestic incident involving these types of phone calls, police said. She was held on $500 bond and was due in court Tuesday.
