GREENWICH, Conn. – Here’s a quick guide to what’s open and closed Thursday in Greenwich for the Fourth of July:

  • Town Hall will be closed.
  • All three branches of the Greenwich Public Library will be closed. The main branch of the Greenwich Public Library will close at 5 p.m. on Friday.
  • Holly Hill Resource Recovery Facility will be closed.
  • U.S. Postal Service will be closed.
  • Greenwich Senior Center will be closed.
  • The Bruce Museum will be closed.
  • YMCA of Greenwich will close at 11:30 a.m.
  • YWCA of Greenwich will be closed.

If you’re planning a trip via Metro-North, trains will operate on a Sunday schedule on the Fourth of July, with several additional trains to get you to and from the annual Macy’s fireworks display. See a current timetable or visit the schedules page .
